2004 Buick Rendezvous Accelarating There Very Loud Reving Droning Noise Rear

When accelarating there is a very loud reving droning noise from the rear of the car. This also happens when we slow down and apply the brakes. I have been told this could be the bushings/ bearings

bearings, yes but from where. there are hub bearings as well as bearings in the differential. they need to be cheked.
