2004 Buick Rendezvous A/C won't turn on

I have a 2004 Buick Rendezvous that i have had for almost 4yrs now and i have had no problems out it until A couple of days ago when my A/C just stop working . Now my lights are still on but the A/C won't turn on what do you think i might be ?

check all fuses in the centere console and under hood first. it may be out of Freon as well due to a leak. then have apro scan for codes as you didn't say if it's automatic or manual.
