the headlights work OK when using the dash switch. It is just the auto matic part not coming on to add to the running light seqquence. And not coming on in the auto mode when it gets dark. I still do not know how to get the unit out of the dash, any suggestions? John

the headlamps run through the two modules so I guess if you are intent on replacing the light sensor you'll have to take the top of dash off to get to it.
