The answer I got was to remove the lid only. I need to remove the entire console and replace it. thank you John

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the center console door. Refer to Door Replacement  Console Compartment Center.
2. Remove the rear console door. Refer to Door Replacement  Console Compartment Rear.
3. Remove the rear console trim panel. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement  Console Rear.

4. Remove the fasteners retaining the rear duct assembly (1).
5. Remove the rear duct (1).

6. Remove the fasteners that fasten the storage (1) bin to the console.
i couldn't get the rest of the stuff to copy. but i think you cn figure it out from here.
