2004 Bmw X3 Hello Well Every Time Turn On Defroster Blows Hot Air

Hello well my question is every time I turn on the defroster it blows hot air and it drains my radiator fluid and the light for the low coolant turn on but when I don't turn on the defroster its fine it doesn't leak at all can anybody tell why this happens thank you

My guess would be to inspect the cooling system and perform a pressure test to pinpoint the source of the leak
