I noticed the mat behind my passenger side seat has been wet. It appears the black (vent looking) tubes are leaking. Yesterday there was thick smoke coming from my tail pipe and my check engine light came on. HELP! Did I knock something loose?

I strongly recommend you set an appointment with your BMW service provider to have these issues inspected firsthand. I haven't a clue what the tubes you are talking about are coming from, and the smoke and CEL could be something quite serious indeed.
