2004 Bmw 525 Hi 525d Wanted Size Battery On There Chucked Out Original Put 1

Hi I have a 2004 BMW 525d and I wanted to know what size battery goes on there as I have chucked out the original and put 1 on that I bought from ebay and its causing electrical problems? I called BMW and they have several batteries that go on but they are saying that I have to bring the car in so if you could please help me out I would really appreciate it. Many Thanks, Paul

Batteries are identified by a specific group number. The group number that fits your car is "94R/H7"
That number identifies everything required for your car including dimensions, capacity, reserve power, post position and whether the battery is externally vented which is required when a battery is installed within the passenger enclosure, which includes the trunk.
