BMW 325i lacks power and the plugs in the first 3 cylinders are oil fouled.

I removed the O-2 sensor and with it out I started the engine. The car seems to have plenty of power but blows billows of smokey oily exhaust. What is wrong?

The head gasket is probably leaking.
