BMW 318ti 04, the handbrake warning light glows orange and the car wants to stall for a few seconds then ok. light go off. whats wrong?

The problem might be a perception issue, I am not sure I understand what the problem is. The thing that will help me is if you could send the last 7 of the VIN so I can properly identify the vehicle.
