i have an audi a4 auto 2004 and a few times now it has been in drive and nothing has happened, i have been stuck there.

have you check the transmission fluid level? those transmissions are computerized you'll probably have to take it to your local transmission shop.

You need a new valve chest. Take it to an audi centre let them check some mvbs and they will confirm my diagnosis.
