My A/C system on my 2004 Audi works fine for a few hours then, it totally stops working or blowing air, a few seconds later it slowly starts up again . A friend told me tat it mite need Freon. If that is the case ill take care of but an Audi repairs are as we al know very expensive. Don't want to burn my AC system, I need a bit of help on this issue...First Time owner of an Audi.its a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro

Do yourself a favour and get a good ac tech to look at it. It could be the compressor occasionally kicking in and out or a possible fan module issue.
