Seat has no problems reclining or moving up and down, but vibrates and makes a loud grinding sound when the seat moves forward or backward. Is this something I can fix myself with the right part or do I need to spend big dollars at the dealership?

either motor or track issue. get it checked as you dont need a dealer, just someone who can repair it at a shop
