Has anyone ever used, heard of, or can give me any feedback on if this thing works? What type of handheld device do you recommend for purchase if you would like to give your own dio and be able to fix your car yourself, possibly?

For fixing cars, first of all you need to have an understanding of how things works and for repairs, a shop manual is the basic requirements.

Most handheld code readers asre inexpensive but for diagnostics, a scan tool is required and it is more pricey.
