2003 Volvo S80. Brake lights remain on after car is turned off at home.. Changed Brake light switch; now reverse lights remain on after car is turned off and then reverse lights will come on after car is turned off. Pulled brake pedal out to get brake lights to turn off. Brake light switch changed at dealership.
Stopped at store; Reverse lights now were on when car was turned off. Dealership said to run through gears and be sure car was in park; lights went out. Got gas; reverse lights remained on when car was turned off and then the lights turned off themselves. Can't remember what lights did when I got home. Was in the kitchen about an hour and a half after car was turned off in driveway and the reverse lights had turned themselves on! Got them to turn off by moving gear shift through gears. Any suggestions?
