2003 Volvo S40 car keeps dying

Last night I went to turn my car on and it wouldn't start as if the battery was dead. Nothing was left on to kill my battery. I got a jump and it came on. But halfway home I was trying to reset my radio so I turned the radio off and the whole car shut off. Help me plz

When the car turned off, did anything electrical work?
