My 5th cylinder is dead, spark plug changed The compression is very very low. So I replaced my engine. got the normal c70, added my turbo and now the mechanic is having trouble with the "timing" any advise or phone numbers to call? i haven't had my car for over a week so i really need advise on this as well. My mechanic is trying to reach volvo and has had difficulties.

did you buy a not running engine? or just half an engine? why the necessity to mess with valve timing? you will have to get exact engine model/size/# if you want timing help.

If you are trying to line up the cams and crank you will need to buy the cam lock tool, especially if he removed the variable valve timing hub. Other then that as fixitmr has suggested, have your mechanic post his question on here to see what exactly he has done and what he is having an issue with?
