You need to remove the front bumper to be able to remove the headlight assembly. Changing just the bulbs is done with assembly / bumper in place.

Sorry. I was too quick on that. I didn't see it was a polo.

It might require the same (bumper removal), but I would have to check the service manual.

What model Polo exactly?
