2003 Volkswagen Passat Gas & Brake Pedal Adjustment

The gas pedal seems too low and I would like to adjust it to be higher than what it is now. Also, I would like to adjust the brake pedal next time when I do a brake job but I can't seem to find how to adjust the pedals.
