Clunking tiptronic gearbox

MY tiptronic gearbox has a clunking or knocking sound when engaging from P to D but otherwise all five gears engage. Lately it also has a rough idling sometimes. Diagnosis machine gave an error message of "Loading error signal from ECU". Can you assist
