2003 Volkswagen Jetta turbo/rpm

My jetta is a 1.8T and when i floor it out climbs rpms but then the turbo comes on and the rpms jump up to about 5 thousand rpms and gos until then then climbs more, when i let off the gas it still pulls forward for a second, what could this problem be?

Can you explain your issue better? From what I understood, you may have a slipping clutch.

Do the rpms raise extremely quickly, but the acceleration of the vehicle doesn't correspond with the RPM gauge?
