it stalls when slowing and engine has started shaking

my car runs fine for a while then when i am slowing down for a juction ect it will cut out and i have to re start the car then the engine will start to vibrate and i have to keep reving it to make it tick over please help?

i would look for obvious vaccum hoses off or broken or leaking as a start
