2003 Toyota Yaris Fuel Gauge Showing Three Bars Ansometime One Bar Flashing

My fuel gauge is showing three bars ansometime one bar and flashing, when the petrol tank is actually full. How do I establish if the Fuel Tank Sensor requires a new replacement sensor or just a minor repair job or replacement fuse. Where exactly is it located in order to check it out and are they repairable. Thankyou.

The fule gauge sending sensor is in fuel tank with fuel pump. You would need to test its operations to be sure what is wrong.
