I am replacing the water pump on a 2003 tundra 3.4L . The new pump Aisin came with a metal gasket. Do I use rtv or permatex on this metal gasket, and if so do I apply it to both sides?

If you clean the surfaces properly you will not need glue. If it leaks, you didn't clean it well. Trust me, clean it up nice with scotch brite or steel wool until it's clean and you'll be fine.
