loud thump sound from the passenger side

There was a sort of hole in the road and I drove my Probox slowly in. Suddenly there was quite a loud thump sound from the passenger side. Will there be any problems and if so what should I check for?

If the speed of the vehicle was slow, it shold not cause much damage but it is best to get it checked. Look out for abrasions and note if anythng there is bent or damaged.

If the steering wheel seems to be at a different position than previously while in a straight line, have the alignent checked. uspension arms and steering linkages should be checked as well.
