radiator fan hooked up to the engine shaft by 2 belts .is it fan clutch type ? controlled by engine rpm?or by the radiator temp? or both?

Should be clutch type that is affected by engine rpm and temperature. If you can turn the fan blades manually when engine is not running, that confirms it.
