DOUBT THE CYLINDERS ARE BENT!!!

HEAD(S) MAY BE WARPED, HEAD GASKET COMPROMISED

A PRESSURE TEST AND CHEMICAL TEST MAY VERIFY WHETHER THE HEADS NEED TO BE REMOVED/ REPLACED OR REPAIRED.

IF THE CAR CONTINUOUSLY DRIVEN DURING THE OVERHEAT ISSUE, YOU MAY VERY WELL HAVE DAMAGE.....IF IT WAS IMMEDIATELY SPOTTED AND ALLOWED TO COOL/ REPLENISH COOLANT....MAYBE IT WON'T BE SO BAD

Overheating can be due to various reasons and you need to diagnose the cause before you are able to have an idea what to do and estimated cost.

Are the cooling fans working?
When does the overheating occur?
Are you having coolant losses issues?
What has been done so far?

It definitely cannot be bent cylinders as it is impossible for it to occur and you have the engine running. Btw I have never heard of a bent cylinder.
