This can happen when the fuel pump going out, but to be sure we can do a fuel pump pressure test. Here is a guide to show you how and a guide for the hesitation as well. I also included how to change the pump out in the images below.

At Idle
Fuel pressure: .................... 304 - 343 kPa (3.1 - 3.5 kgf.sq.cm, 44 - 50 psi)
5 Minutes After Engine Has Stopped
Fuel pressure: .................... 147 kPa (1.5 kgf.sq.cm, 21 psi) or more
Luckily there is a trap door so you don't have to remove the fuel tank which is nice. Also, you can rent a gauge from the auto part store. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
