One day while attempting to close the sunroof, I heard a loud, repeating noise like something had jumped its track and was stripping out or banging in a stacatto, loud way. After that, the sunroof won't close. It makes noise, like it's trying to close, but the only visible movement is the window apparently trying to close, but forcing itself toward the side instead. It doesn't move hardly at all in a linear direction toward the close position, only a very slight movement toward the side, as though one side still works and the other doesn't, making it jam against the side almost immediately. Is this an expensive repair?
