2003 toyota 4 runner, drivers side tail light lens assembly replacement. I have the part. How do I access the area to install it? Thanks! Russ

REAR COMBINATION LAMP LENS LH

REPLACEMENT

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP SERVICE COVER LH

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY LH
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 2 nuts and rear combination lamp assy LH.

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP BULB
Remove the 3 rear combination lamp socket and wire sub-assy LH and 3 rear combination lamp bulbs as shown in the illustration.
Remove the 3 rear combination lamp bulbs from the 3 rear combination lamp socket and wire sub-assy LH.
REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSY LH
REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP LENS LH

Here are the instructions on how to change it with diagrams you remove the inside panel cover to access the retainer's for the lamp assembly like the instruction's say.



REAR COMBINATION LAMP LENS LH

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP SERVICE COVER LH



2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY LH

1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the 2 nuts and rear combination lamp assy LH.



3. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP BULB

1. Remove the 3 rear combination lamp socket and wire sub-assy LH and 3 rear combination lamp bulbs as shown in the illustration.
2. Remove the 3 rear combination lamp bulbs from the 3 rear combination lamp socket and wire sub-assy LH.

4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSY LH
5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP LENS LH
