2003 Toyota 4runner 4runnner Check Engine Light Vsc Came On Took Parts Place

I have a 2003 4runnner...check engine light and vsc light came on...took it to a parts place to get the code read...code reader did not register anything...really low idle and sounds like engine is struggling..any ideas??

If the check engine light came on, then there will be stored codes. You might want to try a different place using different equipment.
