what is the name of the bracket that holds the fan on

my fan broke while i was driving n it was mounted on a bracket that was adjustable that was held by 3 bolts on the motor block. it is not attached to the water pump itself tho. nobody ive talked to knows how or where or what im talkn about can u help me please.

Is this a air pump for your emissions ran by the belt?
