My mechanic told me my transmission fluid cooling lines are leaking slightly at the connection of the metal to the rubber hose. He said it's a minor leak, however if it goes, it could damage the transmission. Now the bad part, he said e can't find the parts anywhere and they can't be made. This is a 2003 Saturn Vue with a V6 and FWD, it runs great so far, but if this issue goes it sounds like it will be junk. Any ideas that could help fix this?

If there is a leak where the steel line goes into a rubber hose, ask if he replace the rubber hose and put new clamps on it. It shouldn't be a big job. He should be able to fabricate something for you.
