Saturn 2003 Vue Transmission

Everybody says Saturn VUE 2003 transmission goes at certain miles because of procedures not follows during its production in assembly line. But did anybody try other transmission fit in VUE other than VUE itself?

i know some expert mechanic says whole transmission not goes only certain parts get damage so replace them instead of whole transmission.

What if Honda CRV transmission fit to saturnvue?

We only recommend direct fit parts.

I would have to inspect the transmission to know what is wrong with it. As far as this being a common problem, I'm not familiar with it. As far as trying other transmission, there are too may things that can go wrong. Today's transmissions rely on sensors, computers. That usually don't work with different parts.
