will a transmission from a 2003 Saturn ion 2.2 fwd interchange with a trans on my 2003 Saturn vue

Absolutely not there night and day different transmissions.

There are some people that would disagree with the last reply...the 2003-2004 ION 2.2L af23 will match up to the 2003 VUE 2.2L and mechanically are compatible...the issue is really with the wiring harness and connections from the TCM and PCM which would need to come from an 06 VUE V6 ...there is a write up on SaturnFans.com about it...

Yes the ion quad coupe uses the vti transmission I thought they were asking about the ion sedan to get away from the beyond problematic vti transmission.The saturn vue v6 from 2004 and on is a honda engine and transmission so I dont know how the tcm and pcm connections would be the same.
