Why is my steering wheel making a squeeking noise when turned?

my steering wheel makes a squeeking noise when I turn it either left or right.

This one is gonna be tough to find-get a helper while you get underneath the steering column with some sort of a listening device to pinpoint it

Is it in the car or outside you are hearing this noise-if outside have the driveaxles and front suspension/steering components checked
