Where is the entry control module located

I am trying to get the part number for the keyless remote from GM and they said they need the 8 digit number off of the module but couldnt tell me where it is located

You dont need that number for a remote I have never needed it when I used to get remotes from the parts department when I worked for saturn. There really isnt a entry module it all goes thru the body control module which is forward the shifter below the ac controls.
