How do I stop it from slipping and repair it. Also I dont know if this helps but the starter is brand new

So whats it doin? Maybe your referring to the gear drive on starter. It has a 1 way slip clutch. Not serviceable on it's own any more so you may want to try and exchange starter as defective.

Check starter motor connections if okay and the starter is engaging the engine and its not cranking over -have the starter load tested-

Could be brand new there's such thing as manufacturers defects-the overrunning clutch is within the starter motor be advised stay in one post quit jumping around

So you replaced the starter yourself if so those arent the easiest starters to put in. So did you have the new starter tested before you left the store?Also I already told them to stop starting a new question and to stick to the same question rastamaz and looked what happened lol.
