I tried to charge my ac system but the compressor clutch wouldn't engage.
Is there a way to manually engage the clutch so I can charge my system?
I know the clutch isn't engaging cause it's not moving along with the pulley and it's not accepting the freon.

You really need to determine what the cause of the problem is stemming from. However, you could run a jumper wire (power supply) from the battery directly to the compressor. That should engage it. If the problem still exists after getting Freon into the system, check fuses, check the cycle switch.

Where on the compressor do I attach the jumper wire? Is there any way to attach the jumper wire to the AC relay instead of the compressor since the battery and compressor are on opposite sides of the car.
At the risk of sounding even more ignorant, what's a cycle switch?

I would run the power directly to the compressor to see if it engages. There should be one wire from the compressor. That is the power supply. As far as the cycle switch, it is what engages and disengages the compressor clutch. If it is bad, the compressor won't engage.
