Hi there

I read some info about what could cause the odometer to stop working. If the answer to a gentleman's question is correct it was identified as the bcm (body control module). I understand that this item stores the millage and sends it to the odometer, (digital) showing the miles you have driven. I would like to know where this component is located and would like to have it fixed.

Thank you for your time and help

Yes the odometer is just the display the bcm stores and sends the mileage to the odometer. The bcm is mounted to the top of the glove box its pretty common for them to fail on those cars. You cant just put a new one in they have to be programmed.
