2003 L200 odometer

74,000 MILES • 4 CYL • FWD • AUTOMATIC

After starting the car, sometimes the odometer shows the correct mileage, approx. 74,000 miles and other times the incorrect mileage of approx. 121,000 miles. What is up with that?

Usually when the odometer is changing the total mile's driven like that that you have a bad body control module because that's where the mileage is stored and then displayed on your odometer.
