2003 Saturn Ion noise underneath the passenger dash

Hi there,
I have bought this Saturn ION 2003 level 3 and when I turn the air circulation button off I start hearing a noise underneath the dash of the passenger side...if I turn that on, the noise will immediately stop.
What could be? can you help me please?
Easy to fix? Expensive?

So sounds like you most likely have a broken recirculation door or a broken recirculation actuator.You would have to look at it to see whats going on.If the door is broken I would replace the actuator and the door.

If the door is broken it wont be a cheap repair.
