Security reset

Hi,I need to reset my saab key since my husband replaced the battery. Can I reset the key myself? I'd like to reset my saab key myself.

Just to add to this one you can try standing next to the car and holding down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds or more and see if the horn honks if it does it reset. Let me know what happens. You may need to do this more than once.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! I stood next to my car and held down the lock & unlock buttons at the same time for 5 seconds as instructed by saturntech9- the horn didn't honk but it reset!
