Engine performance problem

megane ignition card problems and cures...when starting the car it ticks over but will not rev up,, so on stopping the engine pulling the card out waiting a short while then re inserting the card it starts up and revs as it should....if i then go on a 5 changed egr valve,, heater plugs,, fuel filter,, fuel pipe,,new battery,,fuel cleaner ,,1.5dci engine

we dont' have info on this vehicle but scan for codes and check fuel pressure first....

thanks for the reply hmac300,i will get the pressure on pump checked,,i had been a mechanic for 30 years, straight from school,have now retired,i have worked on perkins engines in the mid 60s,i thought i would buy a diesel for economy ??? oh dear,,every thing you touch is expensive,and diagnosing problems is not straight forward,,the previouse owner had a new turbo and water pump fitted.i have changed glo plugs,, egr valve,,fuel pipe + syphon, new battery,,fuel filter,special fuel additive to clear sludge from inlet manifold..oil + filter changed,,took injectors out soaked in carb clean over night,wiped clean + refitted.just waiting for ign card + reader to arrive..i am telling you this in case it rings any more bells,if so please get in touch,les
