My megane had started to stall when you slow down

My 03 megane has started stalling when slowing down at junctions ect my nephew recently had the rocker cover off to change the oil seals on timing end of cams ever since it has been stalling could it be a timing issue please help

try cleaning your throttleplate on both sides with choke cleaner first scan for codes and check fuel pressure
