Sunfire Spark Plug Change

I just had my plugs and wires replaced on my 2003 Pontiac Sunfire. Shouldn't there be a noticeably clean area around the housing "proving" they were changed. Can you see the spark plug wires running out from under the aluminum covering? Thanks, AL

do you mean is it customary to clean the area you are working on? answer is unfortunately NO. the time and extra work when done on a daily repetitive routine is cut to as quick and effortless as possible.
