While driving the van lost speed and finally stopped.

All systems seemed normal, engine running and no forward motion. I shut off the van, waited a few minutes, and re-started vehicle. Checked the fluid (pink), revved engine, and was able to drive about 1 km and then the same thing happened.

The check engine light is on.

That means there should be a code set by the computer. Have it scanned and let us know what it is. We can go from there.
