This could be due to a number of reasons.
It could be because of a vacuum leak, dirty fuel filter, faulty mass air flow sensor, worn spark plugs, weak fuel pump.
In order to figure out the issue you will have to take a look at each of the possible causes and take appropriate action. Like replacing fuel filter, cleaning the mass air flow sensor, changing spark plugs etc.

Many times, with this type of drivability issues the check engine light gets triggered. Is your check engine light illuminated? If so scanning and retrieving the code(s) can help with the diagnostics.
