knocking and squealing noise

2003 pontiac bonneville se (not supercharged)
I have a knocking noise coming from the rear of the enging. I have tried letting up the tension on the belt but the noise did not go away. Now the weird part i have a loud squealing noise coming from the bottom portion of the engine. whats weird about it is when i pull the dip stick out and it sucks air into where the dip stick goes the noise stops completely. Im stumpped please help!!!

you have something wrong internally. it could be a bearing or a piston.

did you run it low or out of oil??
