My wife and I have been driving this Aztek with no problems. We took it up to the mountains for camping recently. Before we went I checked and fid fluids and drove fine. I.put it in park and turned it off and not ten minutes later I went to start it again and I'm getting nothing. Even worse, its smoking underneath the engine, but only during to the you turn the ignition. As soon as you stop so does the smoke. The engine has a lot of dirt on it from camping but I don't know if that would do anything. Please help if you can. Hope its enough detail.

If it only happens when you turn the key to the start position, chances are the solenoid on the starter is bad. Check if that is where the smoke comes from and let me know.
