2003 Pontiac Aztek fuel pump

I have r&r fuel pump and fuel pressure regulatior and still will not start I am getting spark also. If I spray starting fluid in it I will start and drive where ever u want to go.

So it requires starting fluid to get started, but once started it's fine. Is that correct? If so, have you checked the fuel pump pressure to make sure it isn't on the weak side (even though the pump is new)?

Yes I have checked the fuel pressore and I have also changed the fuel filter. And after useing starting fluid it is fine unless you let it sit for about 30 min

If pressure is within spec, I would suspect you have a bad coolant temp sensor. The sensor tells the computer how rich or lean to make the fuel mixture based on temperature. If it thinks it really hot, it will make it too lean. On the other hand, if it thinks it is too cold, it will make the mixture too rich. Do you have a live scanner that can check what the sensor is telling the computer?

No I do not have a scanner but would a local part stores scanner work for the info I need
